Labas, I am Vesta!

I'm a Lithuanian coach and teacher, passionate about helping people speak Lithuanian fluently and confidently. I like to think of myself as a "language alchemist," turning mistakes into learning opportunities and quieting that inner critic that holds us back.

If you're learning Lithuanian and feeling frustrated, I get it. I’ve been in your shoes. Watching my students struggle with Lithuanian reminds me of my own journey with English.

When I moved to the UK in 2009 for higher education, my academic English was strong—but casual conversations? A whole different challenge. The polished sentences I used in essays didn’t work in real-life interactions. I felt embarrassed, second-guessing every word. So, I spoke less and listened more—great for my introverted nature, but terrible for building fluency. I knew I had to do something. I had to step out of my comfort zone.

Over 14 years of living in the UK, I’ve learned that mastering a language isn’t just about grammar—it’s about embracing the discomfort of making mistakes. I had countless “broken English” days, where nothing came out right. But each of those days brought me closer to fluency.

That’s why I teach the way I do. I know that learning a language is just as much about managing emotions and silencing self-doubt as it is about memorizing words and grammar. Every struggle, every awkward moment, every mistake—these aren’t failures. They’re proof that you’re growing.

So if you're feeling stuck, know this: you’re not alone. You’re on the right path. And I’m here to help you.
